Dandelion

Dandelion is a 21 inch sphere of 540 triangular pixels.  It was shown at Burning Man in 2024.  The animations are generated in real time with a set of algorithms that come up in random order and each algorithm has a set of parameters that are loaded randomly.  This assures that the animations don't repeat.

The software is all custom.  It was designed and coded by Chuck Sommerville.  

The pictures here were taken before the final base below the Dandelion was complete.  Eventually a limited number of prints will be for sale.
